Jax

In failing to convince his superiors of the coming Outworld invasion, Jax prepares to covertly for the future battle with Kahn's minions. He fits both arms with indestructible bionic implants. This is a war Jax is prepared to win.

Gotcha Grab: Forward, Forward, LP (up close, repeatedly tap LP to keep punching)

Back Breaker: Block (in the air)

Body Slam: HP (after starting a throw, keep tapping for more slams)

Ground Pound: Hold LP for 3 seconds, then release.

Fighting as Jax

When playing as Jax, always keep the LK button charged. This way, if you see an opening you can perform his Ground Pound and run in for a combo.

Use Jax's Double Missile to stop an opponent running or jumping in on you. This provides a great defense maneuver.

If an opponent jumps at you, perform his Bionic Punch to stop him/her. Use these three tactics wisely will help put up an unstoppable defense.

Fighting Against Jax

Always advance at Jax cautiously. Beware of his Ground pound. When he kneels and raises his fist, jump quickly to avoid it or jump kick him. Jax's defense is hard to penetrate so move in slowly, be ready to block, and sweep when you get close.

Jax's Weaknesses

The only flaw that Jax has is that he has a slow recovery time. If an opponent anticipates one of his moves, he/she can easily counter it.

Ending

The second time Jax battles the forces of Shao Kahn, he comes prepared. Thought to be the strongest man on Earth, Jax has easily proven it. First by beating Kahn's armies, then by defeating Kahn himself. When the world reverts back to normal, Jax and Sonya start the Outerworld Investigation Agency. Jax runs the exploratory division which learns to open portals through science rather than magic. He leads the first expedition into a mysterious new realm.
