Like Sub-Zero, Scorpion's true name and origin are not known. He has shown from time to time distrust and hatred towards Sub-Zero. Between Ninjas, this is usually a sign of opposing clans.

Fighting as Scorpion

When playing as Scorpion it is important that you master his Spear. After you snag your opponent hit him/her with an uppercut. Then when your opponent gets up snag them again and repeat the process.

Fighting Against Scorpion

The best way to defeat this foe is to lean how to avoid his spear. Duck the spear and then counter with a jump kick or an uppercut depending on how far you are away from him.

Scorpion v.s Goro

If you continually use Scorpion's spear and counter with an uppercut against Goro you are most likely to defeat him. If he closes in on you, use your teleport to get out of his range. Then repeat the same tactic until Goro is defeated.

Ending

Marked for Death, years ago, by the Lin Kuei, Scorpion was murdered by Sub-Zero. He left behind a wife and child in his former life but was allowed to return and avenge his death. Even with Scorpion's triumph in the Tournament and new title as Grand Champion, the price he paid was high. He can never again know his family and must exist forever with his secret curse.
